Man in police drug watchlist falls in Loay

A man listed in the police drug watchlist was arrested during an anti-drug operation in Loay town on Thursday morning.

In a report, police said that Charles Mission, 38, of Barangay Poblacion, was apprehended through a buy-bust operation.

Mission allegedly sold shabu worth P500 to a police poseur-buyer.

He was also caught in possession of five grams of shabu which had an estimated street value of P34,000, police said in the report.

According to Loay police chief Captain Geronimo Conarco, Mission previously surrendered under Oplan Tokhang but was montitored to have resumed involvement in the illegal drug trade.

Mission is now detained at the Loay Police Station lock-up jail.

He is set to be charged with sale and possession of illegal drugs. (wm)
