Active COVID-19 cases in Bohol soar further to 446

Bohol on Monday continued to post record-breaking highs in active COVID-19 cases with 446 ongoing infections tallied.

According to the Bohol Inter-Agency Task Force, it recorded 27 new infections and 12 recoveries on Monday, increasing the total number of active cases to 446 from 432 on Sunday.

The same data indicated that 442 or 99.1 percent of the total cases were local transmission.

More than half of the cases were reported in the province’s capital city of Tagbilaran with 235 ongoing infections.
