A drunk barangay tanod (village watchman) was arrested in Tagbilaran City after allegedly running amok and threatening a neighbor while on duty on Friday night.

Police identified the suspect as Gelermo Besiga, a 60-year-old resident of Purok 7 in Barangay Poblacion 3, Tagbilaran City.

In a report, police said that Besiga went to the house of one Antonio Ranoco, 57, of the same village while wielding a nightstick.
