Tour de Cebu never repeated a location before, but it goes to Bohol once more as the destination for the rare 1000-kilo meter touristic rally across the Visayas. Last year, 33 vintage car enthusiasts were impressed by the genuine warm welcome of the Boholanos as they rallied around the province.

Now on its 4th leg of Tour de Cebu and second year in Bohol, a total of 47 vintage beauties touched down at the port of Tubigon early in the morning of October 20, 2017. With their arrival came rough seas, strong winds, and heavy rain to start off the day and the rally still continued.

This year’s participants are a diverse bunch with newcomers from the United States, Spain, and Singapore.  Last year’s favorites such as the Morgan 3-wheeler and 550 Spyderare are resting this year but other showstoppers such as the 1967 Michel Lotus 7 and Mustang Fastback joined this year’s Tour.

Media celebrity Dominic Ochoa joined this year in his 1978 Ford Escort MK2and BE Resorts President’s son, Giles Benedicto, in the Mustang Fastback. Last year’s champion, Martin Aguilar, is back on the road to defend his title.

Soaked in the day’s rain and thrilled by the race, participants were greeted with a warm welcome at BE Grand Resort with cocktails to relax and mingle before the next day’s rally.

BE Grand Resort in Panglao was the official hotel of these beauties where guests can have a first-hand look of the cars when they are off the road. BE Resorts Group of Hotels is owned and managed by Cebu-based property developer Enrison Land, Inc. (ELI), a family-owned corporation that shares the values of Filipino excellence for global recognition. BE Resorts currently operates two hotels, namely BE Resort, Mactan and BE Grand Resort, Bohol.
