A noted drug dealer in Dauis was arrested by police during a drug buy bust operation on Thursday night.
Noel “Bingo” Nisnisan who was arrested near his residence in Barangay Catarman, Dauis at past 11 p.m allegedly yielded shabu worthj P40,800, said Staff Sgt. Edgar Sumagang of the Dauis police.
According to Sumagang, Nisnisan is included in the drug watch list of the police and the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council.
Sumagang said that Nisnisan has been sourcing his drug supply from the neighboring town of Panglao.
He however did not divulge further information on Nisnisan’s drug source.
Nisnisan was identified by the police as a drug personality after he previously surrendered under the Oplan Tokhang.
Nisnisan is now under the custody of the Dauis Police Station and is set to be charged with violations against Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (AD)
