A fresh college graduate was arrested by joint operatives of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) for alleged sale of illegal drugs in Tagbilaran City on Friday.
Dan Yves Cespon who had just earned his information technology degree from a college in Tagbilaran City in April was apprehended through a drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Booy in Tagbilaran City.
According to the PDEA, they set up the operation against Cespon after his neighbors complained against his illegal drug activities in their village.
During the anti-drug operation, Cespon allegedly sold shabu worth P3,000 to an undercover agent resulting in his immediate arrest.
Authorities said that Cespon was also caught in possession of 1. 4 grams of shabu with an estimated worth P9,520.
Cespon remained under the custody of the NBI and is set to be charged with sale and possession of illegal drugs. (wm)
