A tricycle driver and two of his alleged cohorts in the drug trade who were allegedly caught in possession of shabu worth P170,000 were arrested by police during an anti-drug operation in Panglao on Sunday night.
The suspect was identified as Renan Estroso, 33, of Barangay Tangnan in Panglao. Police said that he is listed in their drug watch list.
According to authorities, they arrested Estroso after he sold shabu worth P500 during a drug buy-bust operation.
Martin Dumalag, 20, and Jimboy Lintua, 41, who were with Estroso during the operation were also arrested.
According to Master Sergeant Gregorio Perocho of the Panglao Police Station, the seized a total of 26 grams of shabu from the three suspects.
The seized drugs were estimated to be worth P170,000 based on the value set by the Dangerous Drugs Board.
All three men are detained at Panglao Police Station pending the filing of drug charges against them.
