Yuco and Jumawid were in a drinking spree since morning with several others but they were the only ones left right before the incident at past 6:30 p.m.

“Buntag pa man gasugod na ni sila og inom, nag-ihaw og iro” said Cutin. “Pito ni sila kabuok nag-inom unya ang uban nanguna na’g panguli.”

Based on statements from the victim’s other drinking companions, Yuco and Jumawid figured in a drunken argument before they left but were pacifiied.

They however believed that the two continued to fight when they left, leading to the stabbing icnident.

Meanwhile, investigators continued their probe to identify the motive behind the grisly murder.

Cutin said that Jumawid sustained stab wounds in his stomach, chest and neck.
