Bohol Ex-officio Provincial Board Member Jescelo Adiong has been elected as the regional vice-chairperson of the Philippine Councilors League (PCL) – Central Visayas.
Adiong ran unopposed during the polls held at the Bai Hotel in Mandaue City on Wednesday. Elections for regional officers for Regions VI, VII and VIII were held simultaneously in their respective areas.
Other Boholano councilors also earned seats in the PCL’s Central Visayas leadership, namely Jagna Councilor Maricris Jamora and Carmen Councilor Jay Unajan who were elected as members of the organization’s Board of Directors.
Meanwhile, PCL Central Visayas elected Cebu City Councilor Raymond Alvin Garcia as its chairman. Like Adiong, Garcia was also the lone candidate for his post.

Other elected officials are the following: Roselyn Asok, secretary general; Francis Edward Salimbangin, treasurer; Ricardo Amores, auditor; and Henry January Carballo, public relations officer.
