The community will join in the celebration of the 5th anniversary of Holy Name University Medical Center, Inc., a medical facility that made a breakthrough in the delivery of health services to the Boholanos.
The anniversary activities, according to Fr. Rogelio Alasan, chief executive officer, will be rendering community service, a gesture in thanking the public for the support extended to the hospital.
“One with the Word in healing the World†is the guiding principle behind the hospital’s commitment in serving the public.
HNU Medical Center is a 50-bed level II hospital with a tertiary level laboratory . The rooms in the hospital are provided with piped in oxygen which is generated from the BMC oxygen generator which is the first in the province.
Dr. Angelito “Bong” Lechago, medical director said it will be a week long celebration starting tomorrow.
A free clinic will be conducted on January 26 and 28, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. exclusively for Metro aides, Traffic aides, Market vendors, and Ambulant vendors. Discount cards will also be given in a first come first serve basis.
Day 1 of the celebration (January 25, 2016, Monday)Â begins with a motorcade at 9:00 am to be followed by the distribution of discount cards at 10:30 to 5:00 pm.
Day 2 and 4 (January 26 and 28, Tuesday and Thursday) a free clinic will be held at HNUMCI OPD in which the beneficiaries  are metro aides, traffic aides,market vendors and ambulant vendors.
Day 5 (January 29, Friday) which is the final day of the celebration will start with a Holy Mass at HNUMCI Lobby at 8:00 am. A recognition program for HNUMCI employees will cap the celebration at 6:00 pm (Stephen Saldivar Cagulada)
