TABO SA PLAZA. The “Tabo Sa Plaza” has already been part of the shopping places among Boholanos on every Wednesday buying agricultural products whose prices are lower compared to the prevailing retail prices in the wet markets.

In an effort to promote and market agricultural products especially the organically/naturally grown products in support to tourism endeavor of the province, the “Tabo Sa Plaza” at the Plaza Rizal, Tagbilaran City on every Wednesday has been continued to operate.

Assistant Provincial Agriculturist Larry M. Pamugas emphasized that this activity would open up more entry points that showcase Boholano agricultural and processed products.

Pamugas added that this initiative would serve as a way of showcasing our agri-fishery products and one of the marketing strategies for the good of the Boholano farmers, fishermen and processors.

He said the “Tabo Sa Plaza” has already been part in the lives of the buying public because this would provide lower prices of agri-fishery commodities to the consumers, thus it needs to be continued or sustained.

The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) in collaboration with the Municipal Local Government Units (MLGUs) and other line agencies has initiated this activity as a way of creating livelihood for poverty alleviation, Pamugas concluded. (By Atoy Cosap)
