A policewoman frisks “Dragon” Arcamo’s live-in partner as the suspect lays dead following his attempt to shoot at operatives which resulted in his death.

A newly identified drug personality was shot dead during a buy-bust operation in Tagbilaran City at the wee hours on Wednesday.

The suspect, identified as Eleuterio “Dragon” Arcamo, reportedly noticed that he was selling illegal drugs to a police poseur-buyer prompting him to pull out his caliber .45 firearm.

Superintendent Nicomedes Olaivar, Tagbilaran City police chief, told DYRD Balita that Arcamo attempted to shoot at police, but was hit first by an operative.

The suspect sustained a gunshot wound in his head, which caused his instantaneous death.

Scene of the Crime Operatives recovered from Arcamo’s possession six packets of suspected shabu, a cellphone, drug paraphernalia and a .45 caliber pistol with magazine containing four live bullets.

Following the buy-bust, policemen of the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group, led by SPO4 Yolando Bagotchay, also arrested 25-year-old Sheila Bamiano, the suspect’s live-in partner.

Bamiano, who lived with Arcamo in Upper Calceta, Brgy Cogon, Tagbilaran CIty, is also suspected of involvement in illegal drug activities.

Authorities will file charges against her for violating Section 5 and Section 11 of R.A 9165 of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Allen Doydora)
