Tagbilaran City anti-narcotics police arrested a suspected drug pusher at 9:20 p.m. on Monday in front of the Dr. Cecilio Putong National High School, CPG North Ave, Barangay Cogon.

The suspect, Harris Lumayno, a resident of the said area, was arrested through a buy-bust operation conducted by the City Anti-illegal Drug Special Operation Task Group (CAIDSOTG).

Lumayno, who previously surrendered through Oplan Tokhang, was allegedly caught red-handed selling shabu worth P1,000 to a police poseur-buyer.

He was immediately arrested by responding CAIDSOTG officers led by SPO4 Yolando Bagotchay Jr following the transaction.

The operatives recovered from the suspect two other packs of suspected shabu as they frisked him.

Police detained Lumayno at the Tagbilaran City police lock-up jail while authorities prepare to file charges against him for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Rey Tutas)
