Although now based abroad, the former chief of the Tagbilaran City Health Office (CHO) continues to provide service to residents of the city.
Former CHO head Doctor Albert Jones, now based in the United States, said that he will be providing free consultations and medical services in Barangay Taloto, Tagbilaran City.
Jones will be offering free services at the Barangay Health Center of the said village.
He told DYRD Inyong Alagad on Thursday morning that the consultations will cover cases of diabetes and arthritis.
The former city health official is currently on vacation in Bohol and will conduct the consultations until the end of September.
In the same radio interview, Jones issued an advice to the public, saying that basic steps such as avoiding the consumption of salty and sweet food would go a long way in keeping the body healthy.
He said that this would keep ailments such as hypertension and diabetes at bay.
Jones was the CHO chief under former city mayor Dan Lim. (Rey Tutas)
