Dauis No. 1 drug suspect arrested

The alleged number one drug personality in Dauis was arrested through a buy-bust operation by a composite team of law enforcers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The suspect, identified as Michael Bologa, was arrested in a joint operation by personnel of the Dauis police, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Bologa, a 40-year-old resident of Barangay Songculan, Dauis, was reportedly spotted by authorities selling illegal drugs prompting them to set up the sting operation.

He was allegedly caught-red handed selling shabu worth P500 to a police posing as a buyer during the buy-bust.

Police said that the suspect tried to escape and was able to run from arresting authorities but was intercepted by policemen and PDEA agents stationed around the buy-bust area.

According to senior Insp. Edwin Lacostales, CIDG-Bohol chief, Bologa previously surrendered underOplan Tokhang.

Bologa is currently jailed at the detention facility of Camp Dagohoy as authrotiesprepare to file drug charges against him. (Wellie Maestrado)
