A former policeman who was dismissed from the service for failing drug tests six years ago was arrested on Monday in a buy-bust operation inside the Dampas Catholic Cemetery in Tagbilaran CIty.
Police identified the suspect as Tharek Teofisto Cabagnot III, a 42-year-old resident of Miguel Parras Extension, Barangay Mansasa, Tagbilaran CIty.
Cabagnot was arrested by anti-narcotics units of the Tagbilaran City police at 12:20 p.m. after allegedly selling illegal drugs to poseur-buyer and yielding shabu contained in two packets.
According to SPO4 Yolando Bagotchay, chief of the City Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operations Task Group, Cabagnot was a member of the Bohol police Provincial Mobile Group and the Sevilla Police Station.
Bagotchay said that Cabagbot was also previously arrested for involvement in illegal drug activities.

Cabagnot who did not surrender under Oplan Tokhang will be charged for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Rey Tutas)
