The annual provincial budget for 2017 has been turned over to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) and now at the committee level.
According to 1st district Board Member Abel Damalerio, the committee on budget and appropriations is already reviewing the budget which amounts to P2, 395, 095,553.
Damalerio who chairs the committee said that the Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) of the provincial government would reach P1.7 billion.
In the following weeks, the committee will conduct a series of budget hearings with each department and office under the Capitol including those of government-run hospitals which also submitted their budget proposals for next year. (Rey Tutas)
