A newly identified alleged drug personality was arrested by agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in a buy-bust operation at a pension house in Tagbilaran City on Wednesday night.

Suspect Levi Fronteras was nabbed after allegedly selling shabu worth P500 to an undercover agent near his residence and the JT Building and Lodging House along M. Parras St., Tagbilaran City.

The NBI said that Fronteras attempted to escape by running towards a room inside the lodging house but was cornered by the arresting agents.

Another pack of suspected shabu was confiscated by the operatives inside the rented room where the suspect was caught.

According Atty. Arcelito Albao, NBI-Bohol executive officer, Fronteras was spotted selling illegal drugs along M. Parras Street at 6:00 p.m. prompting agents to set up the sting operation.

Albao said that Fontreras is a newly known drug personality

The suspect is detained at the lock-up jail of the NBI pending the filing of appropriate charges against him. (Weli Maestrado)
