A man and his nephew were hospitalized after they were shot by an unidentified gunman in Dagohoy at 10 p.m. on Thursday.
Authorities identified the victims as Patricio Gaudicos, 65, and Jerry Boy Gaudicos, both residents of Malitbog, Dagohoy.
Based on investigation by the Dagohoy police, the victims were in a drinking session outside their house when the gunman went near them at shot them.
Police said that Patricio was hit in the right leg while Jerry sustained a gunshot wound in his knee.
The suspect then reportedly fled while the victims were taken to a hospital.
Police said that the Gaudicos are now in stable condition.
According to police, they are facing a blank wall in the determining the motive behind the shooting as both victims have no records in their office.
Investigators noted that the suspect was likely to have no intention of killing the victims as he only shot at their legs. (Allen Doydora)
