BPPO holds groundbreaking of PNP stations in Lila, Sierra Bullones

The Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO) on Tuesday broke ground for two new municipal police stations in the towns of Lila and Sierra Bullones which will be erected as part of the Philippine National Police’s modernization program.

BPPO director Sr. Supt. Angeles Genorga led the groundbreaking ceremony together with local government unit (LGU) officials and Provincial Board Member Ricky Masamayor, chair of the PB’s committee on peace and order.

According to Genorga, construction of the new police station in Lila will take about six months to complete.

A total of P3.6 million was allocated for the police building while the LGU donated the lot for the facility, said Lila Mayor Regina Salazar.

Genorga then proceeded to Sierra Bullones for the town’s groundbreaking of its new police station after the ceremony in Lila.

On Wednesday, the BPPO will also hold a groundbreaking at the site of Anda town’s new police building. (ad)
