Cabinet Secretary Leoncio Evasco, Jr., whose gubernatorial candidacy was made known last week, has completed the formation of his slate, barely a week before the filing of certificates of candidacy (COC) for the 2019 midterm polls.
This was announced by Evasco through dyRD Balita on Tuesday after also confirming that he will run for governor.
Evasco said that his slate’s roster has already been filled up including candidates running for vice governor, mayor, congressman and Provincial Board member in Bohol’s three districts.
However, Evasco did not name his running mate and the other members of his team, noting that the official lineup will be announced “soon.”
He said that the announcement will be made before the filing of COCs on October 11 to 17.
According to Evasco, his decision to run for the province’s highest government post was made after a long contemplation.
(AD)
