A couple was arrested for allegedly selling illegal drugs in Tagbilaran City on Tuesday night, the eve of the city’s fiesta.
Roderick Arado, 46, of Barangay Tinago, Dauis and Rubylyn Miranda, 39, of Barangay Lourdes, Panglao were caught in possession of 15 grams of shabu, police said.
The seized drugs were estimated to be worth P102,000
Miranda and Arado were apprehended following a drug buy-bust operation carried out by the Bohol police Provincial Intelligence Branch along the Mansasa-Dampas road.
Arado allegedly sold shabu worth P1,000 to a police poseur-buyer while Miranda received the money resulting to their immediate arrest.
Both are now detrained at the Bohol Provincial Police Office headquarters in Camp Francisco Dagohoy, Tagbilaran pending the filing of illegal drug charges against them. (wm)
