Four chiefs of police from various towns were reassigned through orders made by Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO) acting provincial director Colonel Jonathan Cabal.

According to Captain Dennis Lumor, the new administrative officer of the BPPO, the transferred police chiefs included himself, Captain Raymond Halasan, Lieutenant Quinciano Lopena and Lieutenant Teofanes Olaso.

Lumor was the chief of the Aburquerque police before being transferred to the BPPO headquarters.

Halasan from Lila, Quinciano from Baclayon and Olaso from Tubigon were reassigned to Alburquerque, Lila and Baclayon, respectively.

Lumor said that the reassignments were part of a “minor movement” in the BPPO’s ranks, not a reshuffling.

The transfers were also not based on performance, he added.

According to Lumor, Cabal’s order took effect on Wednesday.

It was the first time that a municipal chief of police was reassigned under the leadership of Cabal who took over the BPPO’s helm on August 1. (RT)
