3 fall in separate anti-drug ops in 3 Bohol towns

Three alleged drug dealers were arrested in separate anti-drug operations in three towns on Saturday, police said.

Authorities identified the suspects as Glenn Tabigue, 32, of Barangay Soom, Trinidad; Noel Matunhay, 29, of Barangay San Isidro, Sagbayan; and Renante Paunillan, 28, of Dalaguete, Cebu province.

According to police reports, all three men were arrested through drug buy-bust operations.

A total of 2.19 grams of shabu with an estimated worth of P14,600 based on the value set by the Dangerous Drugs Board were seized from the suspects.

Police said that Tabigue, Matunhay and Paunillan were arrested in Trinidad, Sagbayan and Clarin, respectively.

All three men are now under the custody of the respective municipal police stations in the towns where they were arrested.

They are set to be charged with violations against Section 5 (sale) and Section 11 (possession) Article II of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (C. Remolador)
