DAVAO CITY — Carlo “The Ferocious” Magali of Bohol failed in his bid to win the World Boxing Association Oceania super featherweight title after absorbing a unanimous decision defeat at the hands of Australian Billel “Baby Face” Dib at Seagulls Rugby League Club in Tweed Heads, New South Wales on Saturday (September 14).

It was the 13th loss against 24 wins and 3 draws by the 32-year old Magali, while 30-year old Dib tallied his 24rd win in 27 fights.

Dib made his second title defense since he won the WBA Oceania super featherweight belt in a rematch against Bruno Tarimo of Tanzania on Aug. 11, 2018.

The Australian then knocked out Rey Juntilla of Cotabato in the 8th round last March 30 in Seagulls Rugby League Club for his first title defense.
