A body of a dead man was found floating in waters near the popular tourist destination Virgin Island in Panglao on Wednesday afternoon.

Patrolman Filbert Amante of the Panglao Police Station identified the fatality as Pueblo Opoco, 69, a fisherman who lived in Barangay Poblacion of the town.

According to Amante, Opoco who was believed to have suffered from a heart attack was found floating near the Virgin Island at past 2 p.m. by fisherman Regolo Arboradora.
